ALL FAT IS NOT EQUAL

In your abdominal region, "visceral fat" accumulates in the spaces around your viscera (internal organs like your stomach and intestines).

This visceral fat creates toxins (chemicals called cytokines) that boost your chances of heart disease, and make your body less sensitive to insulin, which can lead to diabetes.

  • For men, a waist measurement of 40 inches or more could spell trouble.
